La Perla Launches New Website including Online-Shop


There is new address for the style-conscious: the new La Perla website www.laperla.com. The globally-oriented web presence, available in five languages, relays company and product information as well as news from the La Perla World. A larger and more widely equipped Online Shop will also debut. The new design
opts for a black background that underscores the exclusivity of the brand. The simplified navigation is tailored to the needs of the user and will make visiting and shopping at the site as easy as possible.

In The La Perla World area, the company history of the Italian luxury lingerie producer can be browsed as well as news, backstage videos and an international press review. Online shoppers may be pleased to find even better service. The clearly arranged and customer-oriented navigation allows shopping with just a few clicks. And the product search was optimised: now product categories as well as brands can be queried. All items are presented on full-length figures with the option of a view from the back. A detail zoom allows for close inspection of the materials and the exact fit of the items. For shopping victims there is a continuous sales area where selected items can be purchased at reduced prices.

The company expects a further rise in traffic from the new site, even though the previous 500,000 monthly visits to the original La Perla site were already rather satisfactory. And the customer newsletter, which is currently sent weekly to more than 200,000 addresses, will shortly reach twice as many readers.
The re-launch was implemented by the New York agency CREATE THE GROUP and by the Italian software specialist Data Fashion. Both companies are experts in the areas of luxury and fashion.

The La Perla Online Shop opened in 2000 under the name Glam on Web. In 2008 the shop took a new name: La Perla Online Boutique. In September 2009, the La Perla Online Boutique is being integrated into the website laperla.com, which will present the complete La Perla World, including corporate communications, while acting as the online shopping portal.
